The Night Circus.
We have been greatly blessed to be able to work with Clarisse Coetzee from Cape Town on this magnificent concept. The Night Circus is a book and story about a circus which appeared magically on the outskirst of English towns in the 1800's The Circus was completely black and white with splashed of red and elaborate dinners would be served from midnight till dawn. The book is being made into a movie at the moment directed by Tim Burton and we can't wait to see it. We hosted the Night Circus for Deon Huysamer birthday in Riebeek Kasteel and it was a magical affair. Guests were kept in the dark as to where and in what form the occasion will take shape in. They congregated on the Royla Hotel's verandha and were surprised with invitation to the Night Circus and then led up the road to The Night Circus by clowns and a ring master complete with straw bale trailers and an accordian player and violinist leading the way. The celebrations spanned over the whole evening into the morning and guests were entertained in four different venues. The Market, The Circus Tent, The Theatre of Dreams and The Salon De Pastis. It was a magical night to be remembered for a long time.
